In my installations and urban actions I promote public participation. The viewer becomes an actor and author of the work. The drawing, photography and painting are the means used in the production of "events" that seek reflection and action in the city by the identification of its signs. Memory, history and space are the dominant themes. The participant is invited to be part of visual surveys or interventions that explore a specific urban space and time. The various locations and landmarks of the city are rebuilt in the viewer's memory and confronted in the artistic experience. My works are not intended to decorate the city, but to be part of its history, or at least to be part of the memory we have of it. Here's a brief show of the work. |
